Productizing a service means taking the work you do by hand for each client and packaging it into something repeatable that clients can use without you in the room. AI makes that possible for small operators, because the judgment and busywork inside a process can now be handled by an app instead of a person.

Why I'm doing this every week, online

For the last month I ran an in-person AI meetup in Kuta, Lombok. I'm moving to Siargao in the Philippines, so the meetup is going online. The new format is simple: each week I take one real business, from someone in the audience or a friend, and we productize it with AI together.

What's the first business we're productizing?

A friend who runs a house flipping service business. He helps house flippers automate and outsource the processes behind their projects. Right now that is a service, which means it depends on his time. This week we build a small app that does that work with AI, so the service starts turning into a product.

How do you pick what to productize?

Start with the process you repeat for every client. In the house flipping case, it's the operational work flippers need handled on every project. The repeated part is the product. The custom part stays a service.
